The Bible is filled with exhortations and expressions of thanksgiving. The only Living God deserves our highest expression of praise and continual thanksgiving. Why? Because, as James 1:17 reminds us, “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” In addition, Revelation 4:11 proclaims: “Worthy are You, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things, and by Your will they existed and were created.”
So, let’s spend some time considering and meditating on one thanksgiving scripture each day for the 30 days of November, as we focus our attention on giving thanks during this season.
